About the class:
All levels are welcome.
This yoga practice is focused primarily on conscious breathing in postures intended to relax the body and engage the mind. Bring your own mat, blanket, or towel and dig your toes into the ground during our practice. Please attempt to arrive at least 10 minutes before class is scheduled to begin and join the group quietly if you’re running behind. Complimentary coffee and tea are often available before and after practice. Yoga attendees are invited to tour the museum and visit the exhibition currently on display when practice is over.
About Maegan’s personal yoga journey:
I found yoga while living in Colorado over a decade ago. Over the years, my practice has saved me in many ways. In the summer of 2017, I traveled to India to deepen my personal practice and study Hatha yogic philosophy, asana (body posture), pranayama (breathing technique), and meditation. I earned a 200-hour certification with Yoga Alliance while living at an ashram and studying intensely in an immersion program. Since then, I have been given opportunities to share this fundamental life practice, and I am continually grateful to offer time under the majestic Sallier Oak as a means of connection to nature, oneself, and the community.
